The space now occupied by Campus No. 805, an Alabama-based brewery and entertainment venue, has a rich history. Originally, the property was home to S.R. Butler High School back in 1951, and then Roy L. Stone Middle School until 2009. In 2014, the property was purchased to create a unique development that would preserve the legacy of the school. Thus, Campus No. 805 was born.

Campus No. 805 is more than just a venue. They feature five different event spaces, two breweries, several restaurants, axe throwing bars, hair salons and a tattoo parlor, all of which blend in with the campus look and feel. While they focus on hosting social events, they also welcome individuals who want to host family reunions, high school reunions, fundraisers for nonprofits, corporate events, birthday parties, and even weddings.

Once Campus No. 805 launched, they wanted to throw private events right away. Anna-Catherine Blevins, their special events coordinator, knew they needed a software that could help them stay organized and grow with them, instead of relying on pen and paper to keep track of event details. Convert Leads Into Bookings
Because of the unique rental spaces that Campus No. 805 offers, they receive a lot of lead inquiries that they have to work through every day. Luckily, with Gather’s simple software, Anna-Catherine can easily respond to interested customers in an efficient way. “I love how easy it is to turn a lead into a booking through a signed contract,” she says. “It’s a really big benefit.”

 

Upload Documents Into One Place

Anna-Catherine’s manager is off-site, so having access to cloud-based software that allows her to upload all event documents into one place was important to her. “It’s saved me a lot of time. I can scan and fax all of my documents into Gather, like bar reports, event capture time sheets and bartender time sheets,” says Anna-Catherine. “Not only can you use Gather on multiple devices, but it allows me to pull all the event information from where I’m located, so I don’t have to drive over to my manager and physically give her documents anymore.”

 

Organize Leads and Contacts

Staying organized with leads and contact information is one of the features Anna-Catherine loves most about Gather. “I like to archive leads once I’ve done my two points of contact with them and they haven’t wanted to proceed so that I still have their contact information,” she says. “This allows me to focus my time on turning my active leads into bookings.”
