Hosting private events has grown into a huge source of secondary revenue for restaurants across the U.S. However, very few restaurants have a set process in place when it comes to managing that side of their business. As a result, they’re missing out on tons of opportunities to grow their events business.
For this Q&A, we spoke with industry veteran and Gather Account Executive, Joe Scaramellino. Before joining the Gather team, Joe served as the Sales Manager at The Porter Beer Bar where he took their private events program from non-existent to thriving in under 2 years.
